"""bring me your love.."""
its the other way round darling..
but that mistake speaks mountains :-)

i was so in love with her back before she turned into the caricature of her caricatures..

and of all the albums i played by far my favourite and i disagree about being a caricature. hopefully, a little like me, she does as she damn well pleases and screw the so called fans who want her to stay doing the same old thing. not that i am suggesting you saying that but, hey, taste is only taste after all.

inconsequential>>>oaqualung is still good in places but very dated. zappa and beefheart are still centuries ahead of the game and certainly light years ahead of much that the young traditionsist of now rock music supply us with.
currently trying to see what all the fuss is about shit and shine.
still looking for the danger that our wolfie speaks of but is still so lacking as far as i am concerned.

ps wolfie>>>the only thing the mistake illustrates is my normal disregard for both names and titles. (songs and albums). yes, you are right, i got it wrong but please do not make the mistake of thinking that the music that i have been listening to has somehow dimished with the onset of years. i hasn't. pop round to my house and i will show you stuff, in terms of music that will blow your mind. and not just stuff from the 60's, 70', 80' and 90's. as far as i am concerned to maintain the music that my generation created is just to keep up a tradition. sadly the danger you spoke of died many years ago and now all we are left with (by and large) are wannabes (pete doherty etc). and as good a song writer as he is, why would anyone below 45 want to behave like their parents generation?
i didn't. WE didn't. seeing yet another bunch of people re tread the old ways of a previous generation is mindboggling. there is nothing anyone under 45 can do do outrage or shock as it was all done by my lot.
having said that there is still some very good stuff out there but you really have to dig deep. a great pity that john peel hadn't lived for a few years longer.
perhaps shit and shine will turn out to be more than just a silly named buch of kids trying to impress with a daft band name.
maybe.
we will see.

gee no need to get on horses that high. i just thought it was funny you got "to bring you my love" in reverse.
i adored her like no one else did, i look skookily like her (not on pics you've seen of me, but pics of her circa her 24y.o. are EXACT pictures of me and it spooks the SHIT out of me. and of everyone who knows me and watches them.)
anyway. i just hated her last album and hated many things she said and did when it was released. but lets agree to disagree because i feel too tired for argument.

pete doherty needs to die. he killed mark blanco and no one gives a shit. he needs to die. he really needs to die. he will, but not soon enough for me.

as for danger, you know, fuck it. i cant jeopardize anyone else than myself:
1/because that would be unfair. (do i have the right to? no.)
2/because danger is present in the flesh and not on a screen.
i cant do anything that has any sort of impact through 0s and 1s. its driving me mad but theres nothing i can do. no pretty picture of a sacred ritual will ever convey SHIT. i guess i'm calling it quits.
i think what i meant to write back then was "if you're not in danger you're useless" but it turned into some other meaning. then again i dont wanna argue on the original either. same as above.

i dont give a shit about age. i dont give a shit about time. i dont give a shit about eras. i dont give a shit about the past. i dont give a shit about the future. i'm just trying to feed on a sufficient dose of present.

I hope lil' miss wolfie you are not calling it quits...

That'd be a loss.

wolfie>>>horse high? no. sorry if it seemed that way. just speaking my mind. (failing as it might be). no offense meant. you are cool.
