just thought it might be fun to have someone else choose the ingredients. after all i am not the leader nor do i want to be BUT i do shape and flavour discharge by my choices. if someone else took the reins for awhile discharge might go down a different route?
junior has a point and not just surdada but also rai escala who sometimes, through junior, appears here. god bless junior. wish i hadn't written what i did now. on reflection it seems as if i was after praise or something and that wasn't my intention at all.
no praise intended, c.j., not at all... but you're the character that vertebrates this amalgalm, this bunch, this pavillion of dreams, this whatever that discharge is/has. and it certainly has something...i don't know what. i don't want to get all self-reflective, no need to, but you know we're the greatest!! you're da flava man !
totally agree. no question of CJ taking any kind of back seat.
spot on comments from all.
fluxus had macuinas as its 'leader', but was still a horizontal collaboration. discharge is even more so - and better in so being. inviting is a form of editing. but - as logically follows - editing or one kind or another occurs somewhere. to my mind, discharge has fine ideological credentials, in being open and varied once one is amongst the invited.
listen. let us drwa a firm line under this. i feel as if it looks like i was fishing for people to say how wonderful i am. not so. very, very happy to do what i do and to be part of discharge. was NOT after people 'begging' me to stay. you all are a great bunch. i truly thought it would be interesting if junior or murmurists took over that it would change the direction and 'flavour' of discharge. thanks for all your nice words but i really, honestly was not after such unworthy praise. ta. x
Don't be an arse CJ. It's your baby, take responsibwhatsit and don't put the illigitimate spawn up for adoption, if it goes into care, it'll get fiddled with. Do the decent thing and nuture your own. Use the system to subsidise...

i guess you do exert some aesthetic influence on the blog in that you get to choose who gets to be a member and contribute
but once youre here, there isnt any reigning in or undue influence on what is posted that iam aware of
