currently discharge 2 is at the 808 posts stage. this means we have only 80 posts to go before we shut up shop and move to discharge 3. maybe we have two weeks to go.
CJ - any chance with D3 of not having the continuous scrole arrangement of D1 and D2? Beyond a certain point, once plenty of stuff is posted, it often takes ages to load, and even, on occasion, does not load or freezes. Several people have said this. Also, the scrole tool becomes almost impossible to use once there's a lot posted; making it difficult to locate posts older than a couple of days, say. Having a departmentalised archive would mean past stuff could be viewed more easily; making such viewings more likely; and, therefore, making D3 itself less like it's just the most recent stuff which matters. I can see that the scrole might work to instill a kind of fast pace; but I think it's a shame, as great stuff just gets lost, because one has to inch-through the posts.
