Sure. email by whichever means. What's the plan? You want to shift over to myspace for Discharge 4, or simply make a connection to blogger from a Discharge myspace? The advantages of myspace, as I see them, revolve around around the manner in which one can almost automatically network one's work. Blogger is naturally more occluded, private, and harder to stumble upon. And which myspace is certainly more superficial than blogger because of this, the core of meaningful interactions is larger and more capable of growth in myspace than with blogger. How does one find this blog? It's tenuous - or it takes real hunting around. Myspace, in contrast, is founded upon free-association, happenstance, etc. Then, once one has found a page, it is up to you to give your interest depth and meaning.
Just thoughts. I like and use both; and I try to connect the two. And Shadow Lor - re. '...masses...' comment: Whilst it is possible to build-up a numerically-substantial group of myspace friends, that need not exclude have lots of meaningful interactions, comments, and repeat visits, subscriptions, associations, etc. Similarly, I have found that once one defines one's areas of interest, even the 200 million plus myspace pages shrink down to a kind of village.
i agree about myspace but still have a fondness for blogger. i will continue with blogging but would like to 'spill' over into myspace (saga now do one for the over fifties. lol). as for discharge, yes, discharge 4 would be a good place to start, although i have alreay asked matina help to design it. i am sure she will understand besides, her input would be acceptable wouldn't it if we create a myspace site for d4? i would like ideally like to have the same site across both formats. blogger and my space but that might defeat the whole concept. i mean, we could easily feature more music on d4 than it is possible on the current d3. am i right in thinking this? anyway, i must make more time for all of these projects, and soon. as for shadow lor's comments, captain beefheart is one of the greatest musical artists i have ever encountered. now universally acclaimed for his unique style and innovative wayward talent. he mmanaged, in my opinion, to create a totally new sound with influences from many older musical genres. he, however, had no commercial success during his career whereas his friend frank zappa enjoyed wealth security and (yuk) fame. both were hugely talented but i bet the good captain would have loved to have had some of that success. some of that mass appeal. you don't have to 'sell out' to be creative. let us do it!!

ive tried to utilize myspace to broaden our audience here
there's a lot of good work here, and i try to get it around the web and increase people's chances of happening upon it
besides im after world domination and art groupies...im ready to sell out :)
